Quincy High School started the 2009-2010 school year under the leadership of a new principal, Mr. David Talley. Talley replaces Mr. Chris McKnight who has moved to the Vice Principal role, a position that was vacated when Mr. Brian Gum announced his decision to accept a principal position in Montana last spring.
Mr. Talley, his wife, Michele, and two daughters Danielle (Grade 12) and Marinda (Grade 10) moved to Quincy from Helix, Oregon in August. Mr. Talley was formerly the Principal of Berney Elementary School in the Walla Walla School District where he was also involved in the development and implementation of an online, alternative learning system known as Homelink Virtual School. Originally from Southern California, he has also worked as a high school science teacher and assistant principal as well as a junior high school assistant principal and principal.
