E-mail Print PDF

From news reports and other sources, you are no doubt aware of concerns about the potential outbreak and spread of H1N1 Flu, also known as Swine Flu. Quincy School District takes these concerns seriously and is working closely with local public health officials to implement all appropriate measures.

Information flyers for parents were sent home during the first week of school. These flyers can be accessed by clicking on the following links:

Our public health officials have asked that parents keep sick students home until fever-free for 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medications.

Vaccination for H1N1 Flu Virus

Currently we are working with Grant County Public Health officials to provide H1N1 vaccinations to students at school with parental consent at no charge. Information flyers and consent forms were sent to parents the week of November 2. A school-based vaccination clinic is scheduled for Friday, November 13. Parents with questions should contact their child's school office.
