Quincy School District to Honor 2024 Wall of Fame Inductees 
 
Quincy School District is proud to announce the 2024 inductees into the Quincy School District Wall of Fame. This prestigious honor recognizes individuals and teams who have made outstanding contributions to Quincy athletics and academics, exemplifying the district's values of excellence and integrity. This year’s inductees represent a wide array of sports and accomplishments that have left a lasting impact on our school and community. 
 
Devin Howe 
Devin Howe, a Quincy High School alumnus and former track & field athlete, excelled at the state level, medaling six times from 1995 to 1998. Notable achievements include leading the 1997 state champion 4x400 relay team and setting four school records in 1998, three of which still stand. He continued his success at NCAA Division 1 Brigham Young University, medaling 10 times at the Mountain West Conference meet, winning the pentathlon, and earning multiple academic honors. Devin has also contributed as a coach at Quincy High School and Eastmont Junior High.
 
Boys Track 4x400 Relay Team (1997) 
The 1997 Boys 4x400 Relay Team, consisting of Devin Howe, Brian Harrington, Cory Medina, and Walter Brisbon, won the State Championship and set numerous school records. The team followed up with a close second-place finish in 1998, showcasing their remarkable talent and sportsmanship. 
 
Wade Gebers 
Wade Gebers excelled in multiple sports at Quincy High School, earning four letters in football and three in basketball and baseball. As a key player on the 1992 state semi-final football team, Gebers was named first-team All-State kicker and later achieved All-American status at Western Washington University, where he led the team to the National Championship game. He is a member of the Western Washington University Hall of Fame. 
 
Francisco Alejandrez 
Francisco Alejandrez played a pivotal role in Quincy High School’s 2014 state champion soccer team, scoring the winning goal. He also helped lead the team to a state final during his senior year, solidifying his legacy in Quincy soccer history. 
 
Manny Ybarra, Jr. 
Manny Ybarra, Jr. is Quincy High School’s first four-time state placer in wrestling, with finishes of 4th, 2nd, 2nd, and 2nd. A multi-sport athlete, Ybarra continued his wrestling career at Boise State University and later became the head wrestling coach at Bishop Kelley High School in Boise, Idaho. He has twice been named Idaho State Wrestling Coach of the Year. 
 
Induction Ceremony Details 
The 2024 Wall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on September 6 during the Quincy VS. Selah football game at Jackrabbit Stadium, where the Quincy School District community will gather to celebrate the achievements of these remarkable individuals and teams. The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to join in honoring the legacy of Quincy’s finest.
