Happy Education Support Professionals Week

 

I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for all the hard work and dedication classified staff have shown to our school district and, most importantly, to our students. They are the backbone of the Quincy School District, and with an unwavering commitment to our students, families, and staff that is deeply appreciated. They are essential to ensuring our students are successful today so they can have a bright future tomorrow.  

 

Having been in the Quincy School District for my entire career, I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the very best educational support professionals. As a teacher, paraeducators like Velma Foglesong and Mary Lou Esparza did whatever was necessary to support my instruction and students. As a coach, bus drivers like Katie Sommers were so much more than just drivers. They would watch from the stands, enthusiastically cheering on the Jacks.  

 

As an educational leader, Head Cooks Meralee Ferguson and Theresa Sawyer, Custodians Carole Liebelt and Tammie Harris, Para Educators Angie Padron and Patty Zamarron, and Parent Liaisons Ana Espinoza and Veronica Valdez have been just a few of the many classified staff who have been essential to my growth and ongoing development as a school administrator. To this day, I continue to learn, grow, and be inspired by observing and interacting with our excellent Education Support Staff.   

 

As these examples highlight, their contributions do not go unnoticed, and their impact is beyond measure. Their tireless efforts in maintaining our school facilities, keeping our classrooms clean, feeding our children, driving our buses, supporting students academically and emotionally, assisting families and, most importantly, ensuring that our students are safe and secure, are critical to the success of our school community. I appreciate everything they do to make the Quincy School District an excellent place for our students, families, and staff.

Feliz Semana de los Profesionales de Apoyo a la Educación

Quiero tomar un momento para expresar mi sincero agradecimiento por todo el trabajo duro y la dedicación que el personal clasificado ha demostrado a nuestro distrito escolar y, lo más importante, a nuestros estudiantes. Ellos son la parte central del Distrito Escolar de Quincy, y con un compromiso inquebrantable con nuestros estudiantes, familias y personal que es profundamente apreciado. Son esenciales para asegurar que nuestros estudiantes tengan éxito hoy para que puedan tener un futuro brillante mañana.  

Habiendo estado en el Distrito Escolar de Quincy durante toda mi carrera, he tenido la oportunidad de aprender de algunos de los mejores profesionales de apoyo educativo. Como maestro, paraeducadores como Velma Foglesong y Mary Lou Esparza hicieron todo lo necesario para apoyar mi instrucción y a mis estudiantes. Como entrenador, conductores de autobús como Katie Sommers eran mucho más que simples conductores. Observaban desde las gradas, animando con entusiasmo a los Jacks.

Como líder educativa, las Jefas de Cocina Meralee Ferguson y Theresa Sawyer, las Conserjes Carole Liebelt y Tammie Harris, las Pareducadoras Angie Pardon y Patty Zamarron, y las Coordinadoras de Padres Ana Espinoza y Veronica Valdez han sido sólo algunas de las muchas personas del personal clasificado que han sido esenciales para mi crecimiento y desarrollo continuo como administradora escolar. Hasta el día de hoy, continúo aprendiendo, creciendo e inspirándome al observar e interactuar con nuestro excelente Personal de Apoyo Educativo.   

Como destacan estos ejemplos, sus contribuciones no pasan desapercibidas y su impacto es incalculable. Sus incansables esfuerzos en el mantenimiento de nuestras instalaciones escolares, manteniendo nuestras clases limpias, alimentando a nuestros niños, conduciendo nuestros autobuses, apoyando a los estudiantes académica y emocionalmente, ayudando a las familias y, lo más importante, garantizando que nuestros estudiantes estén seguros y protegidos, son fundamentales para el éxito de nuestra comunidad escolar. Aprecio todo lo que hacen para que el Distrito Escolar de Quincy sea un lugar excelente para nuestros estudiantes, familias y personal.
