Thank you!

Thank you
February 9, 2022

On behalf of 3,100 students, 500 employees, and our five-member Board of Directors, I would like to thank the Quincy Valley Community for their overwhelming support for Quincy Public Schools' Feb. 8th Replacement Levy. Currently, our levy is passing at 61%, which is one of the higher passing rates in North Central Washington. This vote of confidence continues a history of levy support from our community and, more importantly, support for our students, families, and staff.

Approval of the levy ensures the continuation of the critical programs, opportunities, and experiences for our students. Music, drama, art, rigorous course offerings, social-emotional support, athletics, and enhanced safety measures are just a few examples of how our local levies fill in the gaps not fully funded by state dollars. This overwhelming community support is a testament to our collective success and our community's trust in the work taking place throughout the district.

My colleagues, the School Board, and I are grateful for your support and do not take your trusted investment for granted. We will follow through with our promises by allocating resources towards the programs and opportunities we pledged that we would fund. Finally, as we are engaged in developing a new strategic plan, stakeholder input will inform our work to continue improving our efforts to support every Quincy School District student and family. Thank you all for your support, encouragement, and trust as you continue to help us spark the imagination, passion, and futures for our incredible students.

I am both proud and humbled to serve as your superintendent. I am blessed with an incredible opportunity to work with some of the state's finest students, families, educators, support staff, and leaders. Once again, thank you for your trust and support.

Sincerely,

Dr. Nik Bergman
Superintendent
