Affordable Internet Access

UPDATE (January 2024): Without additional funding from Congress, the FCC anticipates that the current Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) funding is projected to run out in April 2024. This date is an estimate and may change. As a result, the FCC has begun taking steps to wind down the ACP, which means:

  • No new ACP enrollments will be accepted after February 7, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET.
  • Households that enrolled with an ACP internet company before February 7, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET will continue to receive their ACP benefit until ACP funds run out as long as the household remains enrolled and eligible for the benefit.
  • When ACP funds run out, households participating in the ACP will no longer receive the ACP discounts.

The Quincy School District (QSD) is committed to providing our families and community with information regarding free or reduced cost home internet.  While the district does not endorse any particular program or company, we feel it is important to spread the word.  Please note that none of the programs are provided by QSD, therefore any technical support, customer service or billing support must be obtained directly through the programs or companies providing the service.  Many programs require verification of eligibility, including a letter stating a family qualifies for free or reduced price school lunches.  To obtain a copy of this letter please email dzepedal@qsd.wednet.edu.  Below is a list of programs:
