Student Chromebook Care and Optional Insurance

Chromebook Care Agreement for Students

Chromebooks are provided by QSD to all TK-12 students for learning at school and at home throughout the school year and summer. To use a Chromebook, students must agree to follow the behavioral expectations outlined in the Student Handbook at their school. If a student does not follow the agreements, consequences may include a warning, limited usage, a parent meeting or a fine, depending on the frequency and/or severity of damage or loss.

Please note: Starting in the 2024-25 school year the 1st damage or loss of the year for a secondary student (6-12th grade) will automatically result in a fine which can be reduced or removed at the sole discretion of the school principals. Fines vary based on the type of damage or loss.
